Wednesday, May 1

Mark & Chris Currie planted and pastor New Hope Church in Moscow and lead New Hope International, a mission fellowship of people serving worldwide. Mark is dean at the Russian-American Institute in Moscow, where they both teach. They are also planning to open a half-way house for teens.

For personal needs:  Father, give Mark & Chris wisdom and success in leadership, counseling, and balancing their workload. Keep them and their co-workers on fire for evangelism and discipleship, and help them develop a professional Christian counseling and social work association. Lord, provide the resources for the half-way house ministry, and keep their children faithful to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thursday, May 2

John & Aija Ozolins minister mainly to the poor and homeless of Latvia, aiding them with essentials such as food, clothing, medical expenses and utilities, while also addressing their spiritual needs.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for grace and strength for John & Aija to face the challenges in their lives; for Your divine healing to flow into them, especially for Aija from Parkinson’s disease; and for financial provision and wisdom to administer the gifts and resources at their disposal. Lord, draw unbelievers to Yourself through their loving efforts, opening doors to share the Good News and answering their prayers miraculously, in Jesus’ wonderful name. Amen.

Friday, May 3

John & Sara Russell recently moved to southern Portugal to pastor a church. Also, they and their daughter Katya continue to oversee the ministry in Estonia and to minister in Russia through youth outreach, feeding the poor, Bible school and more.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for a great harvest everywhere You send the Russells, including the ministry in Portugal. Holy Spirit, pour out Your grace, love and wisdom on the leadership teams, and remove restrictions on preaching the Gospel in Russia. Lord, increase the believers’ boldness; release signs, wonders and miracles; and provide health, strength, and funds to meet all needs, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Saturday, May 4

Mark Dreibelbis founded Famine Relief Foundation and Mission Ranch Orphanage & Medical Clinic in Haiti. These ministries supply food and medical help to the lost and forgotten, introduce them to the Gospel and place them in Christian churches and schools.

For personal needs:  Father, I ask for anointing and strength for Mark and his co-laborers, and for more workers, food, medical and other essential supplies. Lord, use their House of God for Your glory, and continue to expand the reach of these ministries, even into the gangs. I ask You to richly bless the orphanage and the children with Your boundless love and to provide grants for financial assistance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sunday, May 5

Lee & Carol Short established Life Savers Ministries Int’l and minister in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Haiti. They serve through feeding programs and ministries to hundreds of impoverished children, medical outreaches, Bible School, church planting, and equipping leaders for ministry.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for protection and provision for Lee, Carol, and their coworkers. Lord, expand their work and make disciples throughout the Spanish-speaking world via their online Bible school, Vida Internacional. Father God, mold those to whom they minister into lovers of God, and provide more funds, especially for severe needs in Haiti, in Jesus’ great name. Amen.

Monday, May 6

Kari Engen founded Mi Refugio (My Refuge) 30 years ago, and oversees the ministry, providing free education, food, clothing, and medical assistance to children and families who live next to the Guatemala City garbage dump and to Mayan families in the villages near San Pedro and San Juan.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Your continued healing for Kari from PLS, a form of Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and for protection for her and her coworkers. Bless the 250 students and 25 school staff with unity, and provide for all the spiritual and financial needs at Mi Refugio. Lord, send more godly servants to join Kari, and grant favor with government officials, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Tuesday, May 7

Robert & Carla Rose continue involvement with the Songs of Joy ministry in Guatemala and the children who grew up there. Robert is also the “logistics” point man for International Christian Resources, which conducts evangelistic medical clinics in Central America and other nations.

For personal needs:  Father, I ask for health, wisdom, and an outpouring of Your love for Robert, Carla and their family as they follow Your will from their home base in Florida. Lord, bring many souls into the Kingdom through their efforts, especially locally and through the medical clinics. Father, enrich the Roses by Your Spirit, guiding and protecting them daily, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wednesday, May 8

Myra & Lewis “Mac” Mcilwain minister in Chiquimula, Guatemala. “Comedor y Educacion de Paz,” the ministry that Myra established many years ago, serves over 200 men, women and children. The ministry includes food distribution, church services, medical assistance, Bible studies, adult education, youth programs, school scholarships and supplies.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for joy, good health, protection, and an outpouring of Your Spirit and anointing upon the Mcilwains, their family and the ministry. I ask for more than enough funds for completion of the second floor of the building, for Bibles, food, sponsors for school children, and other essentials. Lord, bring many to salvation, and send more volunteers for construction and to join the ministry team, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thursday, May 9

Cindy Miller served at Prince of Peace Home for Girls in Guatemala for 17 years till 2003. She remains a member of the General Assembly for the Home. Cindy is in the process of having her book, The Home That God Built, translated into Spanish.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for health, wisdom and direction for Cindy, and additional dedicated Christian Guatemalans to carry on the work in the Home. Lord, provide for the book translation, printing, and distribution among Guatemalan churches, businesses, potential staff and donors to the Home. Holy Spirit, set on fire the heart of every girl, staff member and volunteer at Prince of Peace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Friday, May 10

Joseph & Katia Napoli serve with Youth With A Mission in Curitiba, Brazil. Joseph disciples and pastors prospective missionaries, and is involved in teaching, preaching, and evangelism in many parts of Brazil. He and Katia counsel, minister and mentor leaders, pastors and families in crisis.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for blessings, protection and health for the Napoli family, and ask for rich anointing for Joseph in training others, in sharing the Gospel, and in all ministry opportunities. Lord, give him and Katia Your wisdom as they reach out to people struggling with sexual identity. Please supply all needed finances and healing for their son Philip from learning difficulties, in Jesus’ magnificent name. Amen.

Saturday, May 11

Angel & Lydia Salguero transitioned from our church in 2010 to establish Iglesia de Emanuel, the first Bible-teaching church in Taboada, Bolivia. They and are ministering via regular church services, weekly Bible studies, visitation and outreaches.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for anointing, wisdom, healing and health for Angel & Lydia, and for many to be saved, grow spiritually, and prosper. Lord, protect the Salgueros and the church property, and raise up more dedicated helpers, musicians, and a committed leadership team. I ask for provision of a bus/van, musical instruments, and other supplies. Holy Spirit, free the people from spiritual strongholds, idol worship and witchcraft, in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Sunday, May 12

Chris & Desiree Patricio are Directors of Camp Sonshine Center Foundation, Inc., Philippines. They reach out to poor, urban families of Iloilo City and neighboring islands through various initiatives such as feeding, scholarships, school, discipleship, church night, livelihood and camps.

For personal needs:  Father, bless Chris & Desiree with Your wisdom in leading the ministry, providing health, protection, favor and finances. Lord Jesus, fill them so tremendously with Your love for the people among whom they labor that many needy hearts will irresistibly be drawn to
salvation and fulfillment of Your divine purposes in their lives, in Jesus’ amazing name. Amen.

Monday, May 13

Nate & Abegail Shuck serve as the Go To Nations team leaders in Iloilo, Philippines, overseeing missionaries and major outreaches. They partner with communities and churches in the region, and help to bring transformation through natural farming and agriculture. They also work with a church near the city trash dump, assisting to empower children’s workers for outreach.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Nate, Abegail and their children. I declare life, love, health, grace, strength, provision, joy and peace. Lord, give them wisdom and anointing to empower their missionary team and partnering ministries and the community in Calajunan Mandurriao, Iloilo City, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Tuesday, May 14

In Iloilo City and beyond, Richard Gerhold serves with the Sonshine Center Philippines, reaching families via tutoring, helping provide meals, and evangelism through hospital, home and prison visits. He also leads several daily Bible studies and men’s ministry, speaks at local churches, and ministers to street children.

For personal needs:  Father, please empower Richard to continue serving through many avenues and ongoing relationships with the people and families in the Philippines. Lord, sustain the ministry with your protection and provision to expand Richard’s territory, especially in Zarraga and among children living on the streets. Holy Spirit, open doors, direct his path; move in power to produce a great harvest of souls, accompanied with signs and wonders, in the victorious name of Jesus. Amen.

Wednesday, May 15

Nomil & Valarie Adorada serve with Go To Nations, partnering with Camp Sonshine, Iloilo, Philippines, focusing on the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of children and youth, especially street children. Nomil leads the Children’s Ministry and Valarie is the Scholarship Director.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for wisdom for the Adoradas in leading the programs, for ongoing strength for their work, for more open doors for ministry, new places to share Jesus, and health for the family, especially their children. Lord, raise up additional ministry partners and faithful leaders to run with the vision of winning souls and making disciples, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Thursday, May 16

David & Christine Anasco serve in Chiang Rai, Thailand. As Go To Nations Thailand Team Leaders, they are involved in leadership development, equipping new and current missionaries. Christine also reaches out to women in the sex industry and is a principal at the International Christian School.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for continued wisdom and favor for David & Christine, especially for Holy Spirit insight, operating in the supernatural with words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discerning of spirits. Lord, bless the entire Anasco family, including their two older children studying in the U.S., in the glorious name of Jesus. Amen.

Friday, May 17

Rob & Allison Zimmerman have served 30 years in the Pacific Islands and are establishing a new home base in California. They continue to be actively involved in Guam and Philippines, and are developing their online ministry platform for counseling and mentoring.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Rob & Allison and their teaching and counseling ministry to be anointed and effective to equip the saints for ministry. Lord, grant special grace, protection, open doors into new areas, and ongoing fruitfulness for the ministries the Zimmermans leave behind in Guam, Saipan and Nauru, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Saturday, May 18

Bill Pagaran (Tlingit Indian) directs Carry The Cure, bringing the Gospel to villages, reservations, reserves and communities throughout Alaska, North America and parts of Europe.

For personal needs:  Father, I ask for Your Psalm 91 covering over Bill & Amanda, their family, and the team of youth and adults in the battle against some of the major strongholds over native people: depression, lack of identity, and suicide. Lord, grant them favor, continued harvest and provision as they minister through statewide prayer rumbles, rallies, mentorship and evangelism training, in Jesus’ majestic name. Amen.

Sunday, May 19

Based in Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Richard Twiss (Lakota-Sioux) and his wife Katherine founded Wiconi. Since Richard’s passing, the staff continues the vision and goals in Native American cultural evangelism, equipping Native believers, bridge-building, and networking native and non-native groups.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray that the Wiconi team with its director, Casey Church, will continue to be a strong light in the midst of vast darkness. I ask for grace, renewal, protection, provision and anointing. Lord, remove barriers and build bridges for Native peoples and communities to experience spiritual, cultural, and community transformation in the Spirit of Jesus. In His name I pray. Amen.

Monday, May 20

In Oregon, Randy & Edith Woodley’s ministry, Eagle’s Wings, is culturally contextual and community and biblically-based. The Eagle’s Wings team of Native American believers reaches Native Americans and others with the Gospel through their culture. Randy also teaches at George Fox University.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Your sustaining grace and good health for Randy, Edith, their children and staff as You draw many to Your great heart of love through Eagle’s Wings. Lord, minister through Randy as he teaches Christian leadership and ministry, passing the torch to the next generation of First Nations leaders, and as they rebuild and reestablish the vision of Eloheh Village, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Tuesday, May 21

Jim & Bea Canning established Kinina Ministries to bring the Gospel to the Santee Sioux in Nebraska. The Cannings and their son Jay minister on the reservation through church services, Bible studies, men’s ministry, and community outreaches.

For personal needs: Father, I ask You to give the Cannings the tongue of a disciple, to be always ready to sustain the weary with the Word among the Santee and Ponca Tribes. Lord, provide health for Jim, Bea and Jay, and protect their ministry and finances. Father, break addictions/strongholds with a mighty move of Your Spirit in the region, drawing hearts to experience Your love and presence, in the magnificent name of Jesus. Amen.

Wednesday, May 22

With Broken Walls Ministries, Mohawk worship leader Jonathan Maracle carries a message of reconciliation and a heart to worship Jesus. He desires to see all people free from the religious bondage of cultural preference and leaders arise from the Aboriginal community.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Jonathan & Linda, their family, the Broken Walls team and their families. I ask You to uphold them all during times of travel and separation, and provide amply for every need. Lord, lead them by Your Spirit to know the right times and places to go. I ask You to powerfully reach many through this ministry, bringing in a great harvest, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thursday, May 23

Shirley Frisbee is an evangelist to the soul of Native America. She creates resources that address historical trauma and its symptoms and equips the faith community and others to bring healing to these issues. Shirley is a chaplain, a Christian counselor, and promotes public awareness of America’s Christian roots.

For personal needs:  Father, I ask for direction and wisdom for Shirley to accomplish Your will. Open doors for her to reach victims of historical trauma and enable her to establish a training and healing center, particularly for Native Americans. I pray for favor, protection and co-laborers for her Transformation America ministry. Lord, call faithful partners to support Shirley’s vision and her desire to serve in overseas missions as well, in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Friday, May 24

The B family works in an American city, establishing house churches, outreaches and services among Middle Eastern immigrants, refugees and international students. They also train new overseas workers.

For personal needs:  Father, I ask for wisdom, direction and provision as these missionaries establish various services and ministries to immigrants and students. Lord, bless the training of new workers going to the Middle East and the ministry to local people from least-reached nations. Father God, increase the family’s media campaign and outreaches, reaching many with Your light. Establish house churches in immigrant and international student communities, in Jesus name. Amen.

Saturday, May 25

Ryan & Becca Montgomery serve with Youth With A Mission in Washington, D.C., staffing the Washington House of Prayer, David’s Tent DC and the American Center for Prayer and Revival. They conduct evangelism, train students, and organize prayer walks in the city.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Ryan, Becca and YWAM DC as they seek Your strategies. Holy Spirit, open hearts to receive the Gospel across the nation. Lord, bring spiritual awakening to Washington, and bless the Montgomery family with favor, protection, health, finances, and open doors. Bless Becca with a healthy pregnancy as they await the arrival of their third child in June, in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Sunday, May 26

This ministry of compassion sponsors workers in countries closed to Christianity and provides Bibles in several nations and digs wells for persecuted believers.

For personal needs:  Father, bless the leaders of this ministry, keeping them effective for Your Kingdom. Provide your strength, hope and courage for those enduring persecution, and protect the spread of the Gospel. Lord, grant favor for the ministry to grow, and for commitments of support to evangelists and for Bibles to be fulfilled. Father God, abundantly bless the leaders and their family, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Monday, May 27

T and his wife founded a ministry in 1997 to share the Gospel with children. Their team trains children’s workers, and has reached over 600 unreached people groups in Africa and India through weekly children’s churches, some led by the children themselves!

For personal needs:  Father, I ask that You continue to reveal Yourself and Your Word to T and his family, and to all ministry leaders and volunteers who are reaching children. I pray for Your favor, protection, and ongoing good health for each one. Lord, reveal Yourself to the children in a special way. May the powerful outpouring of Your Spirit reach many families in Africa and India, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Tuesday, May 28

Andy & Kate Ring are in retired/active status with Wycliffe Bible Translators. They volunteer as translation consultants with Wycliffe’s Seed Company (SC), working with a four-language cluster. Assisting with New Testament translations, they often travel to South Asia.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for divine protection, health and grace for the Ring family, favor with authorities, and destruction of all weapons of the enemy against them. Lord, guide and anoint Andy & Kate as they serve and travel with SC, and use the Bible translations to liberate countless souls who receive the Scriptures in their heart languages, in Jesus’ awesome name. Amen.

Wednesday, May 29

A serves in Nigeria, Central African Republic and Nepal with a missionary development organization. The ministry facilitates training and mobilizing potential missionaries, and includes a prayer house, mission outreaches, discipleship training and annual missions conferences.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for A to accomplish Your purposes in Africa and Nepal. Bless the ministry teams as they work hard to see Your Kingdom established in unreached regions. Father, provide discernment and open doors, and draw many more faithful workers to join the organization. I speak divine protection, provision and good health for A as You inspire strategies to further the salvation message, in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.

Yeshi Bekele founded Macedonian Mission Int’l with a passion for building the spiritual and economic lives of pastors, leaders, missionaries and churches in Ethiopia, thus spreading the Gospel rapidly. MMI provides leadership and discipleship training, skills programs, education, health awareness, and financial aid.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Your wisdom, divine connections, favor and fruitfulness as Yeshi serves in Ethiopia through trainings, crusades, retreats, and ministry to children. Lord, bless the new converts and those recently trained, and provide for all ministry needs. Holy Spirit, use the training center, TV program, schools and outreaches to bring hope to the hopeless, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Friday, May 31

Alemayehu (Alex) Mammo founded Manna Media Ministry with the vision of reaching this generation by all means, including various forms of media. He travels nationally and abroad, preaching, teaching and training writers, especially reaching out and ministering to people of Ethiopian origin.

For personal needs:  Father, I pray for Your great fruitfulness through MMM everywhere that the ministry reaches, including among Ethiopians in the Middle East. Lord, open doors for Alex to share the Gospel and strengthen believers through personal ministry, the web, social media, and printed materials. Bless Alex and his family with ever-growing faithfulness to You, and provide amply for every need, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
